Soily rumpled, not near enough sleep renders me useless for the afternoon. When the chips are down, you can't see the colors...after long enough time has passed, you forget you had any anyway...

Good game today b's and g's!!! This smirk on my furry face tells you it's true. Be proud. After all, it's all you have left after bush robbed you of everything else...

Beware, think before you act...especially when angry...maybe tomorrow and maybe the next day of this california sun and i'll be able to arise to the occasion...

Wandering 'off campus' at lunch today...talking with the folks on the strike line...four hours waving a cardboard sign ona stick gets boring after a few days and they have been out for several now...needless to say, they are bored...

Me? I'm with 'the other union' called speea...now those guys are talking about joining the folks on the line...great...just like last time, we'd go out in the middle of winter...one thing you must understand, there is an airport here for good reason...we are up on a 'high point' hill with a constant 25-35mph breeze whipping through...not much you say?...try the 'wind chill' factor when it's 25 degrees f. on the midnight to four am shift...it gets hard real quick...

Keeping pace with Thursday in a spot where the schedule is completely blown, management isn't happy, and the 'upstream' engineers are 'working to rule' in support of the IAM...thus, slow and slower with lots of deliquent events on the backlog...this rules the day...the only real ray of hope is that I work a 4x10 hour week and it's the fourth day...i can hear my couch calling!!!

tried the 'auto playlist' feature for the new website last night with mixed success...what i was playing at the time showed in the 'now playing' banner ok but, it wasn't building a list below in the window meant for that...then it started to 'jam up' in that it went into 'not responding' with every change...i eventually gave up...the request email isn't working either...don't waste time trying for now...they will get it fixed and then push it on the air...so stay tuned (like you wouldn't) for further info...

it's a 'three and out' kind of day for the 'hawks...so far...end of the first...later?...my dodgers will get one more chance to change their fortunes...so happy to see the 'townies' get some again...i grew up with those fab long, tight series games between the dodgers and yankees...pitching duels and small ball...the best it gets...the goods...

fall is showing on the felines...the younger siam colors are darkening to a more 'overall' choc look...good to gather whatever heat...environmental effects on cat fur color...clear 'soft money' project grant...pray for democrats...or forget any dream of ever retiring...tightly wound...just like 'the fed'...but i am willing to slash my interest rates by five full points...stimulate the hell out of ya...

playful yet restful, the sunday meal, diverse mixture of meat, bread, cheese, deviled eggs, cake and creamcheese, settling in, post mastication, post dislodged from all it's packaging. the evening has long since given way to the night. cold...cold wind whipping the windows and i, surrounded by my friends. skamper the tabby, claudia the seal point hymlian, kokopuff the siamblack and her brother, oscar. just a few of the 13 co-habitants here by howard lake. the persuits of the day yielding entertainment, information, writing in the journal, and dumping the trash. not wholly unique but, my life...

the grin, which melts occasionaly but, finds it way back on my lips...

digital television - high definition radio - fuzzy stuff on my socks... Today's passage through space and time reveals continuity... my vision is enhanced by my gong (combined with the millions of 'floaters' out there). The basic has fled before the complex layers of visual dust...I am my own mountain...hidden in this valley of sonic delight...ring that big bell...

today finds me happy for the rhythm pounding in my veins...

today is as my love wanders...
take no prisoners...
leave no clues...

love, love LOVE this! Not just the pictures (though you TOTALLY got some great anegls, girl!), but also the WORDS. seriously. I really enjoyed chatting with you, especially a bit more at dinner and I'm glad to get a bit more of your story here, as well. I loved reading this. You've inspired me to share a bit more about myself, as well. You're totally drawing me in! Keep it up, and I hope to see LOTS more from you soon! I'm gonna be your new blog-stalker! ha!
