Jillian Ingram began her career in non-commercial media as a volunteer at SCAN community media in Seattle in 1997. While finishing her degree in Communications and Sociology from the University of Washington, she interned at KBCS in Bellevue as a reporter for their program Voices of Diversity and worked as an Assistant Producer for the KCTS documentary Perfect Illusions: Eating Disorders and the Family . In 2002, Jillian was awarded the Marty Wilson Memorial Scholarship for excellence in broadcasting through the University of Washington.
