Poptopia Pkwy's Brazil mini-series #2

Got my "Poptopia Parkway & Brasil '09" mini-series off to a good start last week. Thanks to those who enjoyed the music, even heard from someone who lived in Brazil...

Time to bring out more Portuguese pop and rock music I acquired from my recent 3-month trip to Brazil. You'll want to start your Friday night by dialing into Leilani's tuneful world music program Passport, Fri. 7:00p-8:30p.

6/19 part #2 tonight will likely be the most familiar to aficionados of Brazil pop culture. We'll mainly feature tropicalia artists like Gilberto Gil, Caetano Veloso, Tom Ze, Gal Costa, + of course Os Mutantes - and a few eclectic rock acts of the time like Raul Seixas, Os Novos Baianos, Secos Y Molhados, and Sa Rodrix & Guarabira.

6/26 part #3 will be 80s-00s pop, some of which I hope will be new & unique to you...
