A griot, pronounced gree-oh, is an African storyteller that shares and preserves the culture of his people by passing along the myths, wisdom and heritage to others. Our Global Griot program expands that task world wide, bringing the stories, music, poetry, culture and myths of the world’s cultures into your home every Sunday for 2 hours.
