WE HAVE REACHED AND EXCEEDED OUR GOAL to qualify for an annual grant of over $60,000 from the Corporation for Public Broadcasting!

As you may have heard, for the past four years, KSER has been working toward regaining our funding from the Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB). With your help, it appears we've reached that goal! Of course, there are a few hoops to jump through (applying for the grant and getting the nod from CPB, Congress actually funding CPB in 2011!), but the hardest part - raising sufficient local financial support - is done. And we have you, our generous supporters, to thank.

Your donation to KSER means more music for you. Right now we're paying royalties for all the music we play. CPB funding would cover all those costs.

Your donation supports the independent news programs you value most, like Democracy Now, Alternative Radio, Counterspin, Left, Right & Center, and The Takeaway. Grants from CPB go directly to programs such as these.

And CPB funding means more of your money goes to the great local coverage of Snohomish and Island County that you get only on KSER.
