Steve Ward
Steve's broadcasting career began in the 1980s with stints at 92.5 KZAM in Bellevue, and FM99 KEZX in Seattle. For over twenty years he worked for major media companies in the in-store music industry creating branded programs for large and small businesses. Most recently he owned his own media production company focused on music consulting and web-based training. He continues to host the popular Saturday morning Big Bandstand program on KSER.
Steve’s interest in music began at an early age when his deejay father brought home stacks of singles. In late 1966, his parents opened a record store in Mill Valley, California, a place that became home to many major recording artists. Regular customers at the store included Buddy Miles, Moby Grape, Mike Bloomfield and John Stewart.
