Sarah Allen

Sarah Allen is coming from the Museum of Flight in Tukwila, and she has worked for a handful of non-profit organizations since 2020 including AmeriCorps/Girl Scouts, Stanwood Camano YMCA, Stanwood Camano Food Bank, and Cocoon House in Everett.

She wanted to be involved in live broadcasting since the 5th grade when she used to host live morning announcements on Kid Witness News (KWN) from the teacher's craft closet. Through high school, she developed passion and love for video production and journalism, winning a NW EMMY Award her senior year.

At Washington State University (WSU), she volunteered at KUGR as a talk show host for "Currently Speaking" for four years, and also served as a Promotions Director and General Manager. She also worked under NW Public Broadcasting doing live news broadcasts on Murrow News 8 and creating original TV show content through Cable 8 Productions: Video Underground (Music), Viral Vision (Comedy), and Inside Out (Documentary).
