Clancy Dunigan

Spring 1991 found Clancy Dunigan [from Berkeley & KPFA-FM]. At KSER it was razor blade & grease pencil editing tape [pre-Digital!]. “Clancy’s Bar & Grill has aired over 30+ yrs. The Bar & Grill, “Blues You Eat With Your Ears’". A member of WA Blues Society, he has won DJ of the year & several other WBS awards. Interviews have been ongoing & a special part of the Bar & Grill; Peter Green, Rory Block, Janiva Magness, Nick Vigarino, Stacy Jones Polly O’keary to name a few. Clancy acknowledges his debt to KSER supporters, staff & BOD. It’s humbling to participate in the Blues Music genre. Leslie Fleury, Pat Langston, Jim Hilmar & Ed Bremer have been ongoing influences. Community radio gives me the freedom to express myself thru music. This station gives ‘Musicians' opportunity to share their art. DJs are a modest part of this gift giving.
