2012 Voice of the Community

NOMINATIONS DUE 5 pm, July 31, 2012

This annual award recognizes local voices that speak up and out about community or cultural concerns impacting Snohomish or Island counties with positive results for the community. Winners will be recognized at the KSER Voice of the Community Awards Celebration, to take place Saturday, November 10 at 7 p.m. at the Weyerhaeuser Room at Everett Station.

AWARD CRITERIA

• Qualified individuals, organizations and businesses have raised awareness of community or cultural concerns with positive results for the residents in the KSER service area, which includes Snohomish and Island counties.

• Positive results should include either a focus on community impact or cultural enrichment through music, dance and the arts. 

• Actions of the nominee(s) must have occurred within the past 12 months, approximately July 2011 through June 2012.

• Self-nominations and nominations of KSER Board and staff members and KSER on-air hosts will not be accepted.
