Wandering Joel

Wandering Joel was born to music-loving parents in Palo Alto California way back in the 50s. By the time he was 15 he was well versed in classical, folk, rock'n'roll, jazz, and even a bit of world. And he loved it all. He fantasized of having his own radio show, playing The Beach Boys all day long!! Having Stanford University nearby definitely helped. Lots of concerts on campus and in town. He had a great time for a while as the lead singer in a hobby rock band. Good parties! He came to WA in '86 to work at The Big Airplane Ranch, and discovered KSER shortly after the start-up of the station in '91. Those awesome radio folks Ed Bremer and Ann McCoy gave him the chance and training to make the fantasy come true at last.  31 years later, with The Sunlit Room, Healthy Living, and Ed's Sound Living call-in show under his belt, he's still messing up on the air hosting Floating World the 3rd Sunday of the month. Long live KSER!
