It's been a busy week here at Juke Joint world headquarters. Wednesday night was a recital by the world class violinist Hilary Hahn, Thursday was Dave Alvin at the fabulous Tractor Tavern (I got an interview with Dave to air in a few weeks) and Saturday is my Mom's 80th birthday party!!! And if that's not enough my favorite film series of the year just started. Noir City at SIFF Cinema. I'll have the host/curator of Noir City, Eddie Muller on this week's show. We'll be talking movies, film noir in particular. So tune in this Sunday at 1:00 PM to the Juke Joint on 90.7 FM KSER or listen online at KSER.ORG
