Cooking With Joan


Joan Autry, Tutti a Tavola's Founder and Instructor, has been cooking since she was ten years old. She got her first job in a professional kitchen when she was fourteen! Family dinners have always been a special part of her life and she loves to share that experience with everyone she meets. 

Joan has studied under many chefs, most of whom were graduates of the Culinary Institute of America, and including two head chefs, one formerly of the Barking Frog, in Woodinville and Artemis Cafe on Capitol Hill. She loves learning about all types of food and food preparation and has a passion for great meals. Her goal is to take that cumulative knowledge and pass it on to people in a very practical and economical way.

Joan also sold cooking tools for four years with The Pampered Chef and is experienced in presenting food and cooking techniques with humor, solid knowledge and experience.
