CONCERT I “ OPEN FORM...
Seattle, WA - Seattle Modern Orchestra opens its 2013-14 season with a night of exploration in musical pluralism with the Open Form. This concert features music that allows the performers to change the form at each reading, which means that no two performances are ever the same! Works by Earle Brown, Sylvano Bussotti, a rare performance of Karlheinz Stockhausens, Zyklus by percussionist Bonnie Whiting Smith, and a World Premiere by Seattle composer Tom Baker commissioned by SMO.
