Unmitigated Audacity follows the Frank Zappa tradition by bringing together music from a wide range of sources, including musicians who played with Frank Zappa, cult movie soundtracks and titles by familiar and little known artists from the 1960s to the present.

'Kani ka pila' means 'play music' in Hawaiian, and Kanikapila Sunday plays three hours of Great Hawaiian Music, including contemporary, traditional and hapa haole songs. You'll also hear slack key guitar and `ukulele instrumentals. Produced by Hawaii Public Radio, HPR-1. Derrick Malama is your host.

Host - Goose. From the Zappa song of the same name, Unmitigated Audacity follows in the master's footsteps by bringing together music from a range of sources: 1. The myriad of musicians that have crossed paths with and have played with Frank Zappa; 2. Movie soundtracks like: Michael Mann movies, The Oceans 11 series, Natural Born Killers, etc.;
3. Unknown songs by rock bands people have heard of and songs by unknown artists from the 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's through today.
